Using association rules analysis to determine favorable mineralization sites in the Jiaojia gold belt, Jiaodong Peninsula, East China

Mesozoic orogenic gold deposits in the Jiaojia goldfield, Eastern China show features of regular mineralization spatial distribution and have long been captivated attention geologists. This study integrates 3D modeling, model space analysis, association rule analysis to extract relationship between structural deformation mineralization. The Apriori algorithm with constraints is used quantify favorable sites field using different combinations ore-controlling indicators. first site has a 44% probability primarily located segments fault footwall within 25 m buffer where transition from steep gentle occurs (∼1–24). Its uniform indicates that ore-bearing near main plane relatively wide, hydrothermal diffusion uniform. Site No. 2 45% convex (6–35 m) 55 footwall. equidistant zonal this area secondary faults fractures facilitated migration fluids, resulting formation extensive spaces. 3 sited (∼0–6 distal (∼55–515 dip (∼30°–35°). binary structure differing dips formed by intersection steeply dipping orebodies slowly central southern parts Nanlü-Xinmu deposit exhibit complex channel away fault. In study, correlation factors fold quantitatively expressed as form rules, it would contribute deeper understanding underlying mechanisms governing structure-controlled goldfield.
